EMP-filters and protection
Erikois-Elektroniikka has designed and manufactured filters for suppressing electromagnetic interference since 1974.
We have a great number of standard filters as well as customer-specific implementations with varying features
For use in:
research
medicine
communication
automation needs
Our products fit both fixed and moving targets.
Different filters can be combined.
Telecom filters
All telecom filters are the same size,
147 x 50 x 30 mm.
Installation in an EMPA-unit.
Interference filters for telecommunications
2- and 4-pole interference filters for analog and digital telephone, data transmission, control and alarm wires.
The filters have high interference suppression and effective amplitude limiting against EMP and lightning-induced surges.

EMPF-2MB2 filter
2Mbps EMP-filter
2-pole low pass filters EMPF-2MB1 and EMPF-2MB11
Both 2-pole ground symmetric low pass filters are designed for fast data transmission cables.
Filters have a large common mode interference rejection (CMR) and an effective amplitude limiting agains EMP and lightning-induced surges.
EMPF-2MB1 is primarily used for a few to a few dozen pairs in 2Mbps- and PCM-systems and other applications requiring a wide frequency band like 24/3 Mbit/s ADSL2+ connections. The filter can be installed without separate protections since it has replaceable ceramic over voltage protectors.
EMPF-2MB11 is a parallel model of the above filter. It can be used in wider applications and like our other filters it is installed in mounting units with multiple filters.
4-pole low pass filter EMPF-2MB2
EMPF-2MB2 is a 4-pole 2Mbps EMP filter for protecting a single bidirectional connection from EMP.
2Mbps-1Gbps filters
